The Colour Wheel were a fully fledged power pop band in the mold of Left Banke, The Rasberries, the Beatles (I suppose). They wrote very catchy songs which were played extensively on Scottish Radio. So much so that the band were invited to tour with Crowded House, World Party, Del Amitri, Squeeze..a kind of song-writers song-writing band.
