Cupid & Psyche is an indie rock duo based in Los Angeles, California, consisting of musicians Michael Vidal and Juan Velasquez. Their music is characterized by a blend of contrasting forces such as shadow and light, despair and hope, and frustration and catharsis. Both Vidal and Velasquez originally gained recognition as members of the punk band Abe Vigoda, whose 2010 album "Crush" received critical acclaim and was listed as one of the "Best 50 Albums of the 2010s" by Pitchfork.
