Started by Benatos Thompson in 2007 as a change in sonic direction from his more IDM/Glitch endeavors, he began to play with elements of Dubstep and noise more and more in composition and focus on the the punk rock energy of live performances throughout 2008 to 2010 as a solo artist. Emily Steigerwald volunteered both expertise in images and sonics to help forge Cursed Chimera into a new decade of electronic mayhem by adding the intense VJ element lacking in past performances.
