Cut Flowers sprang up from Fukuoka Japan's Oyafukodori "gaijin" scene in 2005 when the members of the eclectic Buck Natural got back together. As music scene veteran, Jon Wilks officially became producer as well as lead guitarist and principal songwriter, CF blossomed from Buck's identity crisis, sharper and funkier, as well known for musical community activism as for their high energy shows and afro-topped lead singer, Warren Fryar.
