DDR is a Norwegian band that made their first mark on the music-world by taking DDE-songs and giving them a metal/rock treatment and make it sound East German (DDR). Their second mark was when they, on their second album “Norwegische Superknuller”, among others covered the Gry Jannicke Jarlum song “svake mennesker” (schwache menschen), got sued and had to withdraw the album from music stores.
