Dahlak is an intellectual young rapper/poet out of Sacramento. He is a member of iLL-Literacy and is a big member on the spoken word circuit. His first album "dual consciousness" released in 2007 and sold out. He recently released a Kanye West tribute "live from the boondocks". This guy is highly skilled and has received some rave reviews from a couple of names that matter, mos def for one. Look for this guy in the future, he reminds me of Lupe Fiasco, but more intellectual and political.
