Darkness started on the 1st of December 1984 after a concert of Destruction and Tormentor (today Kreator). Stimulated by this concert, Lacky (aka Torturer), Hartmut Schöner (aka Agony) and Andreas Becker (aka Skull) went to the „Zeche Carl“ and founded DARKNESS. The first Darkness Song ever „Armageddon“ was written in this night.
