Daryl Hall (born Daryl Franklin Hohl, October 11, 1946) is best known as one half of the pop-rock duo Daryl Hall & John Oates. The group, often abbreviated as "Hall & Oates, was active between 1970 and 2024. In addition to his work with John Oates, Hall has pursued a solo career and collaborated with numerous other artists including Robert Fripp, Diana Ross, and T-Bone Wolk. In 2011, he performed with NERO at the Bonaroo Music Arts Festival and collaborated with the duo on their track "Reaching Out" released that same year. He has also been featured on the DIY Network reality television show "Daryl's Restoration Over-Hall", which highlighted Hall and a construction crew restoring one of his houses in Connecticut. Additionally, he's hosted the online TV series "Live from Daryl's Houses" since 2007. In the series, Hall uses his New York home to feature live performances from a variety of bands and solo artists.
