DAVI VIEIRA was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, studied capoeira, dance, and percussion and toured Europe, Asia, and the USA with Brazilian dance companies. He was a founding member of the Iyakekere band, and the Brazilian rap group MD MC's. MD MC's appear on Tommy Boy's Planet Rap compilation and have released cd and music video in Brazil with EMI records. Davi was in the production "Stomp" in NYC when it was at the Orpheum, toured internationally with (Grammy Winner) Angelique Kidjo, and many other artists.
