David Meece (born May 26, 1952) is a contemporary Christian musician who enjoyed success in the mid 80s throughout the 90s with thirty singles reaching top 10 positions on CCM radio. He grew up in Humble, Texas, where music was a refuge from his abusive, alcoholic father. While still in high school, he was touring in Europe and the USA. He began formal music education at the Peabody Conservatory of Music where he met his wife, Debbie. (She has played viola on some of David's releases such as ONCE IN A LIFETIME).
