Deceits is a melodic post-punk band formed in late 2021 in Los Angeles, CA by best friends Kevin Moreno (Vocals, Bass, and Synth), Kevin Hernandez (Guitar and Synth), and Francisco Saenz (Drums). Originally formed for fun, and as a way of dealing with the stresses and anxiety of everyday life during quarantine, songs soon started being created which sounds were influenced by a mutual love of post-punk, darkwave, and coldwave. FFO: The Cure, Sad Lovers & Giants, Soviet Soviet, Asylum Party, and Human Tetris to name a few.
