Born Desmond Elias Ford, and raised in Southern California, he now resides in Eugene, Oregon. His parents were trend setters and decided to have 4 Mulatto babies, all boys. He is the second son and has his own son named Elijah. His rap alias is DEF davyne, which is a combination of his initials and "divine". He has been writing since 1995 and performing since 1999.
