Devotchkas's 2007 Concert History

Devotchkas is a four-piece punk rock band from New York City, USA. Their name is derived from the novel/movie A Clockwork Orange where "devotchka" is the Nadsat word for "girl" (originally from the Russian word of the same meaning). An all-girl group, the band was formed by three friends in 1996. The early period saw drummers come and go, including Jon from The Krays. Wanting a regular drummer, they eventually recruited Gabrielle to complete the line up.
