In 1997 four high school friends began writing songs together above a garage in Copley, Ohio -- by 1999, Dolly Trauma's first 4-song demo was in regular rotation on 88.9 V-Rock, the station that turned Cleveland metal act Mushroomhead into a local phenomenon. While most of its peers were ripping off Korn and Limp Bizkit, Dolly Trauma remained committed to melody, emotion and experimentation. The band's demo went on to sell 1000 copies in the northeast Ohio area alone, and local club-owners took notice.
These are photos from concerts where Dolly Trauma played, so they may be of other bands that played the concert as well.
