Although her given name is frequently misspelled as Delores (even on the labels some of her singles), the real name of this American soul singer of the 1960s was Dolores Johnson (also known as Dee Dee Johnson), probably from Texas, United States. A former member of The Ikettes (1960-1964), she also released solo material and sang lead on 'I'm Blue (The Gong Gong Song)'.
