Doubtful Sound Concert History

Named after a Fjordland in New Zealand, Doubtful Sound is the moniker for guitar and mandolin player Michael Thigpen. Michael began a solo career playing under the name Doubtful Sound in 2009 to find out what folk music is. Since then he has written quiet songs he has played very loudly and loud songs he has played very quietly. He has written a songs about life, love, travel, science, God, and a sweater. He has fallen in love with musical stylings of Skiffle, Delta Blues, Soul, early Country, Bluegrass, Brit-Pop and Post-Rock.
