Eddie Van Halen (January 26, 1955 - October 6, 2020) was the co-founder, lead guitarist, backing vocalist, and keyboardist of Van Halen. Widely hailed as one for his energetic performances, extraordinary talent, and creative ingenuity Eddie Van Halen has been widely hailed as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. In 2007, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with other members of Van Halen.
