Originally from Algeria, Karim Chaya, the charismatic singer, chose to set up home in the Ménilmontant neighbourhood of Paris. For the past 7 years, he has sung, in French and in Kabyle, of his vision of the world, his doubts as an immigrant, and his daily life.
