Jimi Hellinga a.k.a. Elektrovolt started making music on viola and harmonium and later guitars and various other instruments. When he discovered an old synthesizer on a dusty attic, he started playing the same melodies but in a different way. From medieval, folk, renaissance to afrofunk, electro, darkwave, disco, house, acid and techno.
