Emergency Radio was formed in the summer of 2006, when Tim Torralba joined forces with These Trees keyboardist Greg D'Amico and Mechanical Hound guitarist, and vocalist, Neal Harvey. The early music was straight electro synth pop. Synth pop influenced by Patrick Cowley, Giorgio Moroder, Depeche Mode, and U2. Broke up in 2009. Reformed in 2012. They are from Orange County, in the greater Los Angeles area.
