Ephelon Trio Concert History

The Ephelon Trio came together in the fall of 2009 after a year of playing together in Sidewalk Chalk, the trios main project that's quickly gaining momentum in Chicago's burgeoning hip-hop scene. The Ephelon is steeped in the funk, soul, and jazz tradition whilst incorporating a fresh modern swagger to the music's vibe. Initially know for playing intimate and highly improvisational shows consisting of things like Dilla mash-ups, nu jazz a la the likes of Kenny Garret or Robert Glasper, and old school funk.
