Previously named Kilgore Trout, Eric in Outerspace started in 2009. The two-man band of Ryan T. and Sean P. (currently seniors in high-school) began out of Omaha, NE, where they were both born and raised. Being in tune with the Indie Scene, the two had experience with and influence from the likes of Okkervil River, Bon Iver, Arcade Fire, Explosions in the Sky, and the less Indie Led Zeppelin, just to name a few.
