Erramun Martikorena Concert History

Very loved Basque self-taught singer born in 1943. He initially sung traditional songs just for pleasure and his first appearance in public was in 1974 in a singing contest done in Larzabal, but he didn't start to give recitals until 1978. At the beginning he sung a capella and later helped by a guitar player. He has never been a professional singer, in the sense that his main job was shepherd and agriculturist, nevertheless he recorded several records and is considered a very important figure in Basque traditional music.
