Feather (US)'s 1989 Concert History

Feather was a jazz-rock & soul (reggae-influenced) performing & recording ensemble, formed in 1975 on Milwaukee’s East Side. In 1976, the band released a 45rpm “Be Real” / “Trips” and in 1978 a self-titled LP recorded at John Altman Studio (San Francisco). In 2016, some of the band’s recordings were reissued by Tramp Records (Germany). Feather members were Ashbolt STEWART (drums; 1975-1978), Cathy NICHOLSON (lead vocals, percussion; 1975-1976), Dale RAWSON (guitar, flute, sax; 1975-1976), Jane LINLEY (lead vocals, guitar, violin; 1976-1977), Jay BORKENHAGEN a.k.a. ‘Jay Blue’ (guitar, flute, sax; 1976-1978), Jerry WIMMER (bass; 1975-1978), and Josef BRINCKMANN (keyboards, harmonica; 1975-1978).
