After The Rascals disbanded in 1972, the original members reunited for a brief period in 1988, but the band disbanded a second time before the year was over. In 1989, Dino Danelli and Gene Cornish would form The New Rascals with Bill Pascali and Carlie Souva. By the early 2000s, Felix Cavaliere formed his own version of The Rascals called "Felix Cavaliere's Rascals," or sometimes just "Cavaliere."
