Portuguese singer/songwriter, born in Porto in 1944. His family flees Portugal for Belgium (Charleroi) in 1958 because of the difficult political climate. In the sixties he arrives in Amsterdam, where he still lives today. It wasn't until 1994 that he started recording solo albums. Before that Fernando played in different groups and combo's, playing portuguese music , jazz and jazz rock.
