Filé Concert History

South Louisiana has a music genre all it's own and it's called Cajun music. The Cajun sounds are a blend of European and American Indian influences with a foundation of French and French Acadian folk tradition. South Louisiana natives agree that you must see as well as hear Cajun music performed to truly appreciate it. Then you'll understand why people (locals and out of town guests) can't help but start dancing to the Cajun waltz and two-step rhythms the moment you hear the lively sound.
