Flatmate are a dubstep/grime duo from Lyon, France. Drawing influences from drum & bass, breakbeat to dubstep and electronica, they mix these different flavours to create tunes running from dark and driving to melodic and atmospheric. They focus on the more groove-driven side of music, formulating wall shaking bass, skanking melodies, and boucing beats. Performing live PA, they combine a blend of emotive synth lines, syncopated bass-heavy beats and shrieking stabs any time they take on their laptop and controllers.
