Founder's 2017 Concert History

Sydney band Founder makes contemplative, predominately instrumental rock music via drums and guitars, with occasional samples, keyboards and vocals. Their sound ranges from the profoundly dark-edged to the dreamily melodic to the abstractly pop-like, occasionally within the same song. The mood is intense, yet spirited, at times built on chiming guitars and jazzy rhythms, at other times on lumbering, minimal pulses, dense guitar tsunamis or gently layered guitar loops.
