Fred Jones is a band that either explores the depths of musical genres or completely disbands the logic of them. In any case, the outcome is something that sounds new, refreshing, yet subtly familiar. Fred Jones is the brainchild of friends Jason Encabo and Ray Orias, who have played music together on and off for over six years. Begun in the summer months of 2005, the band has gone through several guises; the Flying Kites and Friends & Lovers being the most prominent of them.
