freewheelers Concert History

Forged during a festival in the Netherlands with Jeroen (LivinBluesXperience) on bass, Bas and Ilene had found the Freewheeler sound: energetic love music, a tight fitting mix of blues, rock, funk and old tunes. One of the first bands to have an acoustic cello upfront played by a singing, classically trained American woman, they hit the scene in Europe, playing the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Spain, after which the band went to California, playing several gigs and jamsessions.
