Furious Pig Concert History

Furious Pig were a group that formed in the small town of Totnes in South Devon, England. Influences include: Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, The Beatles, Ethiopian Polyphonic chants, The Doors, Stravinsky and Edgar Varese etc. In 1979 they moved to London a year after reaching the final of the National 'Melody Maker' Rock/Folk Contest. There they developed their own unqiue sound and gained a cult following in London and the Northern European club scenes.
