Gene Simmons's 2015 Concert History

Gene Simmons (born Chaim Klein Witz, August 25, 1949, in Haifa, Israel) is one of the founding members of the rock band KISS. Alongside Paul Stanley, he is the only member to remain with the band since its formation, appearing in every KISS release since its self-titled debut studio album in 1974. As a member of KISS, Simmons performs as "The Demon." His blood-spitting, fire-breathing, tongue-wagging alter ego remains one of the most well-known stage personas in rock history. Simmons has also released two studio albums as a solo artist: a self-titled album in 1978 and "Asshole" in 2004. He has also made numerous appearances in films, often as himself. Though born in Israel, Simmons immigrated to New York City at age eight with his parents.
