George Moss's 2012 Concert History

George Moss (1903-1990) was a Highland piper from Scotland. Born in Strathglass, he began studying the pipes as a teen and learnt in particular from Alex (Sandy) Cameron, piper to Cameron of Locheil. When he was learning, bagpipe styles were evolving, though George did not take to the newer style, and continued to play and record more traditional styles rarely heard today.
