Girl Scouts was a young emo/mathy three piece from suburban Philadelphia. Their sound draws heavily from Philadelphia/Lehigh Valley emo such as Algernon Cadwallader, Snowing, Hightide Hotel etc. Girl Scouts was originally a side project of their post-rock band, Pursuit (http://www.last.fm/music/Pursuit), which is currently on an indefinite hiatus.
