Gomba Jahbari is a reggae band from Puerto Rico. The group's name originates from a S. African dialect and it literally means "Brave Warrior". Gomba Jahbari is made up of eight musicians who are all from San Juan, PR. The lead singer and percussionist Carmelo (Melo) Romero and guitarist Miguel Lampón came together in 1998 to form this dynamic group. They were featured on Soldiers of Jah Army's album Get Wiser.
