Gordon Alexander put out an obscure singer/songwriter album mixing slightly trippy lyrical sensibilities with more pop-friendly arrangements in 1968. Gordon Alexander was a singer from California who released an album called Gordon's Buster which features the song "A Bunch of Us Were Sitting Around a Candle in San Francisco Getting Stoned and I Hope You're There Next Time."
