Governing Murphy Concert History

Governing Murphy grew out of the cover band scene of the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Ron Murphy was doing his time in a local band, but knew in his heart his future was in the originals he was writing. After talks with RCA records as a song writer broke down, he took it as a sign that he needed to get his music heard by the people that truly mattered: the public. Realizing that his strength was in guitar playing and songwriting, and not singing, he contacted his friend, Wally Govern, whom he had heard singing with his band.
