Great Depression Concert History

The Great Depression was formed in 1996 in Madison, Wisconsin by Todd Casper and Thomas Cranley as a vehicle for psychic exploration and subversion. Their first album, ‘Heaven is Becoming,’ was written in filthy bars and recorded on four-track cassette machines between Brooklyn and Minneapolis. It was eventually committed to two-inch tape at Pachyderm Studio in 1998. Critics called it ‘Hauntingly beautiful,” “Lush” and “Apocalyptic”.
