Greg Kihn's 1971 Concert History

Greg Kihn (July 10, 1950 – August 13, 2024) was a pop-rock musician, radio DJ, and horror novelist. Between 1976 and his death in 2024, he acted as the frontman and lead singer for The Greg Kihn Band, which released several Top 100 singles in the 1980s including "The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em)", "Happy Man", Every Love Song", "Jeopardy", "Love Never Fails", "Lucky" and "Love and Rock & Roll". Between 1996 and 2012, he performed as a DJ for classic rock station KUFX in the Bay Area. KUFX hosted an annual concert between 2002 and 2013 called "Kihnfest", which featured The Greg Kihn Band as each year's headliner. On August 13, 2024, Greg Kihn passed away from Alzheimer's disease at the age of 75. During his life, he also published four horror novels, the first of which, "Horror Show", was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award for Best First Novel.
