Grüvis Malt is a six piece band from Providence, Rhode Island, USA that formed in 1995. Single-handedly starting the "futurock" genre, their sound is a unique and interesting mix of rock (with influences from progressive rock), rap, hip-hop, and electronica, along with some jazz and swing-related elements. They are known to frequently use irregular time signatures and unusual chord progressions in their eclectic music.
