In 2001, after a number of years in a classical harpist career, Sofie Guillois Larsen (founder, composer and lead singer, of the harpcore band), was invited to arrange music for a number of prominent artists on the Danish popular music scene. This being her starting point at the rhythmical scene she gradually began working ever more intensely with electronic compositions and live-based computer music. During a few years of cooperation with harpist Katrine Horn from France many of the ideas for harpcore were developed. ...
