Headshear is a 4 piece band from San Francisco specializing in instrumental strangeness, and lush soundscapes. Succinctly described as post-Progressive rock, Headshear creates challenging music with odd meters, polyrhythms and complex harmonies. If string quartets had their hey day after the advent of electricity, distortion boxes, digital delay and had integrated it with rock/punk/jazz drums you'd get Headshear. 21st century post-punque chamber music...from the quiet and beautiful to the loud and powerful.
