High Pass Filter's 1997 Concert History

Formed in 1995, Melbourne-based High Pass Filter is an electro dub outfit. Built initially on a love of Jamaican dub rhythms and techniques, the HPF sound fuses live instruments with the cut-and-paste stylings of dance technology resulting in what could be loosely described as a dub-electronic-rock hybrid. Over the years the band have toured with everyone from Fugazi, Lee "Scratch" Perry and Mad Professor to Tortoise, Blues Explosion and the Beastie Boys.
