$hirak werd in 1993 geboren in Capelle aan den IJssel. Als een klein jongetje van zes jaar liet hij al zien uit wat voor hout hij gesneden is; de piano had geen geheimen voor hem en later wist hij zelfs klassieke composities van Erik Satie en Yann Tierssen met speels gemak naar zijn hand te zetten. In 2015 scoorde hij zijn eerste hit met Lil' Kleine en Ronnie Flex 'Drank & Drugs'. Datzelfde jaar reisde hij af naar Texel voor een schrijverskamp met hiphopcollectief New Wave.
