"Honky Tonk Heroes" was an album similar to the "Highwaymen" outings, featuring Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings and Billy Joe Shaver. The album was released in 1999 and all of the songs were written by Billy Joe Shaver, and "You Asked Me To" was co-written with Waylon Jennings.
