Hvozd's 2008 Concert History

The start of the Slovak Bratislava-based band Hvozd goes back to 2000. It was founded by the sisters Ivana and Lucia, who write Hvozd's music ranging from rock through chanson, jazz or traditional folklore. The combination of piano with accordion accompanied by authentic singing can on one hand create poetic atmosphere or on the other be exciting and provocative. The name of band is derived from the Czech word hvozd, which means old and deep forest. It might be nice to get lost in it.
