Ibarra, inspired by J.P. Rizal's rogue of a character, is a band, fresh out of the mountains, set out to take old and new ideas, and mold them into music that cuts straight to the chase. Their sound is a mix of the familiar and the not so familiar, orthodox and unorthodox. Ibarra as a band aims not to make hits or gain raging fans, instead aims keep making music for as long as they can, the way it should and always has been -original.
