IDYLLS (pronounced “idles”) are an Australian grindcore/metalcore band from Brisbane, Queensland. The band’s current line-up consists of guitarist Chris Brownbill, vocalist/saxophonist Billie Stimple, bassist James Horgan and drummer Lloyd Daniels. The band formed in 2009, touring and playing extensively before finally releasing their debut seven-inch, entitled Amps for God/Plague Hell, in 2011. Their debut LP, Farewell All Joy, was released in May 2012 via Art As Catharsis.
