Indienella (a pun on the name of a very cheesy 80's "romantic" male/female duo from Argentina called Pimpinela) is a pop duo from Northern Spain based in Gijón. They started writing and recording songs at home towards the end of 2005. Their goal was to make fun, catchy, meaningful bubblegum lo-fi garage pop. A few months later, in April 2006, they recorded four songs (three originals plus a cover of an old Alaska y Los Pegamoides track) at Jorge Explosion's Circo Perrotti Studios in Gijón, Spain.
